Lodz University of Technology
Lodz University of Technology is situated in the center of Lodz which is one of the largest city of Poland. TUL has long been a leader of engineering education and is well known for its research, teaching and international cooperation.
Nowadays the university hosts near 20 000 students, employs over 1 500 academic staff. It consists of 9 faculties including 75 research departments and offers 39 fields of study.
TUL is the only university in Lodz to have a place among the national top ten universities in the Perspektywy magazine and Rzeczpospolita newspaper university ranking. The University ranks fourth in the Best Technical University category.
Lodz University of Technology was recognized as PROStudent University 2011. The title was awarded by the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland.
TUL is the fourth most frequently selected university according to a Ministry for Science and Higher Education report.
The university has been awarded ECTS Label by the European Commission. It was the first university in Poland to have received this prestigious certificate which acknowledges compliance with highest quality standards of education and international exchange.
Warsaw University of Technology, Military University of Technology and Lodz University of Technology signed an agreement on cooperation to consolidate teaching, research and innovation potential of the three universities.
Student exchange and research projects are carried out in cooperation with 450 organizations in 40 countries.
TUL is also engaged in research projects financed with national and international grants funded by e.g. Polish‐Swiss Research Program, National Science Centre and National Research and Development Centre Programs.
